Harmony House

Harmony House transitional living program provides a supportive, nurturing place to learn and grow while creating harmony in the lives of young women and their children.

Who is eligible?

Homeless pregnant or parenting mothers ages 18-21 residing in the state of Montana who are TANF eligible.

How long will I receive services?

Mothers and their children are provided up to 12 months of on-site transitional living and up to 6 months of aftercare.

What other services will I receive?

Residents of Harmony House take part in life-skills training, parenting classes, peer support groups, budgeting and financial literacy as well as recreational activities.

Will I have my own room?

Harmony House recognizes the importance of privacy, giving each mom their own private room with her child. However, meals are prepared in a shared kitchen and our shared family room, laundry room and meeting room spaces support healthy relationships amongst mothers and children.

What is expected of me as a resident of Harmony House?

Residents are required to complete 30 hours of productive time each week including HSE, high school or college classes and/or work training programs.

 What level of support can I expect in return?

Through our intensive case management, coupled with wrap-around supportive services, we will help you every step of the way in goal setting, developing the skills you need to become self-sufficient, embracing healthy parenting skills, finding and maintaining employment, and living in permanent, safe, and affordable housing.
