HRDC operates the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) in Hardin, serving the Crow Reservation. FDPIR provides a variety of healthy and nutritious foods from canned fruits and vegetables to dry goods, frozen meats and fresh produce every month.

New Freezer Installation & Food Delivery Changes

The warehouse is getting a new freezer and cooler and will be installed April 15th -19th.This may cause delays in issuing your food to you if you are a certified member of the warehouse. We will not have produce or frozen foods available during this week for issuance. The warehouse will be fully operational the week of April 22 and you will be able to pick up your dry goods and frozen/cooler items.

Due to a change in produce delivery dates, we will need to change our Southern route food delivery to Garryowen, Lodge Grass and Wyola. Beginning in April, we will be making these deliveries on the second Wednesday of the month. In April, this will be the 10th.

Commodity Food Increase

A guide rate change  will increase the amount of food received by each member of a household. In addition to the increase of eggs, meat and vegetables, the USDA is also offering frozen strawberries in 1lb packs and bison stew meat in 2lb packs.

Crow Food now delivers to rural towns in Big Horn County

The Crow Food Distribution Center now provides delivery services for elders and individuals with a disability in the rural towns of Big Horn County  areas including Crow Agency, Garryowen, Lodge Grass, Wyola, St. Xavier and Pryor.

New Warehouse Hours

The Crow Distribution Warehouse will begin closing on the last day of the month for inventory purposes. We will also close on our State truck delivery day to give staff time to receive and restock the shelves. The warehouse will reopen the following day. For any other questions, call 406-665-2523.
