Harmony House transitional living program provides a supportive, nurturing place to learn and grow while creating harmony in the lives of young women, ages 16-22, and their children.

Who is eligible?
Homeless pregnant or parenting mothers ages 16-21 residing in the state of Montana.
How long will I receive services?
Mothers and their children are provided up to 18 months of on-site transitional living and up to 6 months of aftercare.
What other services will I receive?
Residents of Harmony House take part in life-skills training, parenting classes, peer support groups, budgeting and financial literacy as well as recreational activities.
Will I have my own room?
Harmony House recognizes the importance of privacy, giving each mom their own private room with her child. However, meals are prepared in a shared kitchen and our shared family room, laundry room and meeting room spaces support healthy relationships among mothers and children.
What is expected of me as a resident of Harmony House?
Residents are required to complete 30 hours of productive time each week including HSE, high school or college classes and/or work training programs.
What level of support can I expect in return?
Through our intensive case management, coupled with wrap-around supportive services, we will help you every step of the way in goal setting, developing the skills you need to become self-sufficient, embracing healthy parenting skills, finding and maintaining employment, and living in permanent, safe, and affordable housing.
Is there help for single dads and couples?
Transition in Place is available for single dads and couples who are homeless, pregnant or parenting, and ages 16-21 residing in the state of Montana. Up to 6 months of rent is available for qualifying families and help finding a place. Participating families can also remain in the program for up to 18 months. After 6 months of rental assistance participants can still receive supportive services and case management.
