Day of Caring volunteers help create an alternative learning space

We had the good fortune to have volunteers from First Interstate Bank help us out in setting up tables and desks for our new Alternative Education space as part of the United Way Day of Caring event on Thursday, September 13th.

We really got a lot done and we could not have done it without their help.  The main project was to put together tables and desks made from pipe fittings and stock lumber.  The projects were simple, but look incredible now that they are finished.  These items will really help bring together out new space and make it more inviting to our students.  Many of our students have struggled in the traditional classroom, and we hope this new area will make them more at ease during their studies.
